I wrote this fictionalised story to convey the turmoil of the current moment and political climate, while highlighting the ability for action.

As a young climate striker, I’ve seen how it is possible to organise during this pandemic. And I’ve also seen how COVID-19 and the climate crisis are interconnected. We can reopen to a more equitable and sustainable society – but to do so, we must support one another as as friends, family, and neighbours. Even if that community is now over text rather than in-person.
