Hồng is free – time to free them all!

Hong is Free: People around the world took action for Hong's freedom

A year after her unjust arrest and imprisonment, climate defender Hoàng Thị Minh Hồng is now free! Hồng, a courageous advocate who has spent her life fighting for climate action, was unjustly imprisoned for her work challenging the fossil fuel industry. Her release, after massive global pressure from over 9,000 people across 55 countries, is a testament to the power of solidarity.

While we celebrate her freedom, we continue to stand in solidarity with other imprisoned climate defenders in Vietnam, like Đặng Đình Bách and Bạch Hùng Dương. Hồng’s release is a powerful reminder that when we unite for justice, we can achieve the seemingly impossible.

‘Heat Pumps for All’ gains ground in Canada

A growing number of MPs – across the country and across party lines – have pledged their support for Heat Pumps for All!

Our campaign to bring heat pumps to every home in Canada is picking up steam! 21 Members of Parliament (MP) have now pledged their support for a Universal Heat Pump Program. This growing movement is pushing Canada toward a future where everyone can heat and cool their home with affordable, clean energy.

You can still take action if you haven’t done so already! If you’re based in Canada, send a message to your MP and let them know you support Heat Pumps for All. It’s quick, easy, and makes a big impact.

Momentum builds: It’s time the ultra-rich pay what they owe

Over 350,000 people across Europe demanded the EU to tax the rich.

Soon, leaders from the world’s biggest economies will meet in Brazil at the G20 summit. Ahead of this meeting, momentum is building to tax the ultra-rich. Over 350,000 people across Europe demanded the EU to tax the rich. This is crucial for funding just solutions to the climate crisis and addressing inequality. Together, we continue to call on world leaders to ensure that the wealthiest pay what they owe to protect our planet and secure a just, sustainable future for everyone.

We’ve seen the power of people coming together to create real change. If you’re inspired by these wins, consider sharing these good news with your friends or family. Together, we can build an even stronger movement for climate justice. The stakes are higher than ever, and we can’t do it without you.
